Piano - Marlene Cruz Lozano shares her enthusiasm for piano and music creating a fun and motivating environment for her students. They learn the fundamentals along with playing their favourite style of music whether rock,classical or pop.
Marlene will also help students who are interested in composing their own music. She will show you how melodies and chords work together and coach you on song form.
Marlene has over ten years of teaching experience working with children, teens, and adults in a private lesson setting and through workshops.
Marlene has a Bachelor of Arts, Honors Music in Piano, Violin and Composition from Bishop's University, Quebec. Marlene also has a Choral Conducting Diploma.
Marlene performs at our recitals helping to accompany our instrumental and vocal students.
For those interested Marlene also offers preparation for Canadian Conservatory and Royal Conservatory Exams.
