Some of his musical associations have included co-leading a quartet with the great guitarist Ed Bickert (Order of Canada) for eight years and playing with Oscar Peterson from 1994-1996. Other people Lorne has played and/or recorded with include Rob McConnell, Chet Baker, Kirk Macdonald, Ray Brown, Neils Pederson, Clark Terry, Benny Carter, Bill Mays, Ruby Braff and Guido Basso.
