Rob MacSpurren Beginner Guitar/Bass Rock Guitar Classical Guitar
Rob's musical training and teaching experience have made him a versatile teacher who encourages his students to find their own voice.
You can be assured that every student working with Rob will be learning the music fundamentals, of reading, technique, chord structure, ear training along with their favourite style of music. His students are also encouraged to write and perform their own music.
Rob's level of accomplishment on his instrument means he is able to teach you whatever style you want to learn.
Rob graduated Magna Cum Laude and holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Ottawa with a specialization in guitar ensemble, orchestration, jazz arranging and composition.
Rob also specialized in pedagogy, performance, and music business at the Cambrian College of Applied Arts & Technology where he graduated with Honours with Distinction.
Rob has performed at the National Arts Center and his compositions have premiered at the Composer Concert held at the University of Ottawa.
Rob is also our recording engineer and works on projects ranging from pop to new age. Many of our students record their first demo with Rob at our studio.
