Marlene Cruz Lozano

With more than 14 years of teaching experience, Marlene shares her enthusiasm for violin, piano and composition, creating a fun and motivating environment in which students can improve their musical skills. She has experience working with special needs students, children, teens, and adults in both private and group lesson setting.

Marlene created the Baby's own Lullaby program as a result of writing music for her own little daughter and realizing the need for more programs that offered a creative space for new moms while she was searching for activities to do during her pregnancy and maternity leave.

Her company Smiley Music notes, strives to provide this creative space for pregnant women, or parents with little children.

Come and join us in a creative path to write your very own lullaby! A gift your child will keep forever!

Our program's purpose is to provide mothers with a space for relaxation, creativity and expression using basic knowledge of music composition, ear training, singing and rhythms to create an original Lullaby for their baby. No previous music knowledge is necessary.

Pregnancy naturally brings heightened sensitivity and intuition to new moms, our programs start at the prenatal stage to take advantage of these senses and create unique, personal lullabies. We also offer this program for mothers with babies and toddlers.

Each of our programs is designed to offer different activities based on the babies age and developmental stage.  We provide the parents and children with new channels of communication and activities through sharing music every day, strengthening the special parent – child bond.
